The future of St George’s (2019-2024) – give your views
St George’s is developing a new clinical strategy (2019-2024) for the hospital. It will be agreed in March 2019, and will drive everything they are doing going forward – from the range of healthcare services they provide, to how they invest our resources.
Following initial events in July, They are holding a second round of public sessions in November and December as part of the strategy’s development.
Please read on for details and dates,
Each session will cover the following specialist services, but you can focus on the one most important to you:
- Cancer
- Renal
- Women’s
- Children’s
- Critical care
- Neurosciences
- Cardiovascular and thoracic
At the workshops they’ll be seeking views on what works well with these services, and what they need to do better.
The list of sessions is below – please let them know if you plan to attend one (also specifying which service you are interested in) by emailing strategy@stgeorges.nhs.uk.
Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Light refreshments will be provided.
If you are unable to make an event, you can use the survey here to give them your views.
They tell us that they are also working closely with their clinical leads and other staff to complete a detailed analysis of each service.
There will be a chance to have your say on further services in the coming weeks.
